Local-First Processing Privacy

MaterialDock is designed to act completely on your local computer. We do not use database integrations, server functions, or database data tracking. Your crystallographic CIF or mechanical CSV files are parsed inside your browser memory space using HTML5 FileReader. The contents are never uploaded or transmitted to any server.

Browser Storage

Certain tools, specifically the MSE Flashcards Local, utilize your web browser's local storage (such as localStorage or IndexedDB) to save card schedules, score history, and custom cards locally.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics (Measurement ID: G-EZR8DE8HZ9) to analyze page visits, performance metrics, and feature usage. These metrics do not collect or log calculations input, uploaded crystal schemas, or personal data.

California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

Because this utility is operated in California, we respect CCPA guidelines. MaterialDock does not sell or share any user personal information or data records. All user file parsings are strictly client-side. Google Analytics gathers anonymized visitor statistics which can be disabled by blocking cookies in your web browser.
