Scientific Assumptions & Methodology
- Applies to cubic lattices only.
- Coordinates are represented in terms of fractional lattice vector lengths (0 to 1).
- Negative indices are formatted using standard bar notation (e.g. 1̄).
Limitations & Educational Warnings
- Symmetry-equivalent families of planes {hkl} or directions <uvw> are not expanded in v1.
- HCP four-index Miller-Bravais indices (hkil) are deferred.
